Dhermi Boat Tours is operated by Albania Travelnet Ltd. We are a licensed boat tour operator registered in Tirana, Albania. In this Terms and conditions, Albania Travelnet Ltd will be referred to as the tour provider. Our website address is: https://dhermiboattours.com
General Terms
- Individuals purchasing a product, a tour, a service from Albania Travelnet Ltd are the client in these Terms and Conditions.
- Albania Travelnet Ltd is the tour/service provider in these Terms and conditions.
- When using our website to buy one of Dhermi Boat Tours products, the client has accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Tour’s conditions
1. Costs and prices
The price of the tour and detailed information regarding what is included and not included in the price are as published in our website.
All prices are quoted in Euro or ALL. All payments will be in Euro or ALL as determined when booking the tour.
Children
- Children younger than 7 years old cannot take part in our tours, due to coast guard regulations. Children under 12 years old are eligible for a discount. Albania Travelnet Ltd reserves the right to refuse a child on the tour if an Albania Travelnet Ltd representative believes that the child is not fit to join the tour or may get harmed if he or she joins the tour.
2. Payment Process
- Group tours must be paid in full at the time of booking. Private tours require a minimum deposit of €160 at the time of booking; the balance is paid on the day of the tour.
- The reservation is secured once the payment or deposit is received.
- Payment can be made in cash, or via major credit/debit card via Tirana Bank POS in our office, or via PayPal online payment service. POS’s fees, exchange rate and commissions are regulated by the Bank.
- Published prices include all taxes.
- Payments can be made via PayPal online payment platform. In this case, the terms and conditions of the platforms are applied. Service fees and commission are regulated by the payment platform.
- Payments can be made via a bank transfer directly in Albania Travelnet Ltd bank account. Bank’s service fees and commissions are set by the bank. Client must pay any service fee, so that Albania Travelnet Ltd receives the exact amount as agreed.
3. The Contract
The information published on our website, these Terms and conditions, the Privacy Policy, all information regarding the price, the itinerary and what is and isn’t included, as described on our website, will constitute a legal contract with Albania Travelnet Ltd, when buying a product or service.
By purchasing one of our products, you have automatically accepted our terms and conditions and have entered into a business agreement (contract) with Albania Travelnet Ltd, which will provide the product paid by the client.
4. Cancellations terms
When client is canceling or changing a paid group tours reservation:
Client will be fully reimbursed when cancelling the paid tour more than 24 hours before the starting time of the tour.
Client will not be reimbursed when cancelling the paid tour less than 24 hours before the starting time of the tour.
When the client wishes to change the time or the date of the tour more than 24 hours before the starting time of the tour, there will be no additional fees.
When the client wishes to change the time or the date of the tour less than 24 hours before the starting time of the tour, the client will be charged 25% fee on the total price of the reservation, when the required changes can be made and accepted by Albania Travelnet Ltd. If Albania Travelnet Ltd does not accept the changes to the reservation due to no availability, or any other reasons, the required changes will be considered a cancellation from the client.
When client is cancelling or requiring changes to a paid private tour reservation:
Client will be fully reimbursed when cancelling the paid private tour more than 7 days before the starting time of the tour.
When cancelling the paid private tour less than 7 days before the starting time of the tour, €160 of the reservation deposit will not be refunded.
When the client wishes to change the time or the date of the private tour more than 7 days before the starting time of the tour, there will be no additional fees.
When the client wishes to change the time or the date of the private tour less than 7 days before the starting time of the tour, the client will be charged 25% fee on the total price of the reservation, when the required changes can be made and accepted by Albania Travelnet Ltd. If Albania Travelnet Ltd does not accept the changes to the reservation due to no availability, or any other reasons, the required changes will be considered a cancellation from the client.
Cancellation by the tour provider (sea and weather conditions)
All our boat tours depend on the sea and weather conditions. If the sea conditions or general weather conditions do not allow for a safe boat tour, Albania Travelnet Ltd will cancel the tour and inform the clients in advance. When Albania Travelnet Ltd cancels the tour, we will offer the client a different date to take the same tour or an alternative tour the same day, or will offer a full refund if the given alternatives do not fit the client.
Bookings made through GetYourGuide, Viator or other booking platforms follow the cancellation and refund terms of that platform. Refunds for these bookings are processed by the platform.
5. Reimbursement
Any payment for a reimbursement will be made within 10 working days in the same form as the client paid for the reservation.
Commissions paid to the bank or online paying platform, which were paid by the client or the tour provider, will not be reimbursed.
In any case the reimbursement will not be higher than the amount that the client has paid to Albania Travelnet Ltd.
The refund will not include any other costs such as but not limited to: transfer service fees, bank service fees, credit card service fees, online payment platform fees.
If the client cancels the tour less than 24 hours before the starting time of the tour, there will be no refund for the amount that he has already paid to Albania Travelnet Ltd for purchasing a product/tour.
In case of reimbursement, the client will not be refunded for the bank/financial costs of the original payment and the refund.
Any money owed by Albania Travelnet Ltd to clients because of a refund will be processed within 10 working days following the cancellation, using the same payment method the client used for the reservation. Refunds cannot be claimed later than 7 days from the day of the tour.
6. Change Requests
If the client asks for a change in the program of the tour (product), the client will pay the price difference if there is a price difference due to the change.
7. Transportation
Transportation will be via boats leased or owned by Albania Travelnet Ltd or other associates. The boats are annually checked and certified by Albania Port Authority regarding safety, mechanic conditions and amenities. Our boats are fully equipped with safety equipment as required by the Albanian sea transport regulations.
8. Travel Insurance
We have insured our business according to the best liability insurance policies in Albania. We strongly suggest all our guests to arrange for travel insurance in their place of origin, prior to arriving in Albania. We are not responsible for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings and equipment, personal injury and illness, which happen due to neglect, incompetence or a mistake of the clients.
9. Stipulations
Albania Travelnet Ltd contracts with independent contractors in securing and booking the services provided for our tours and we are not responsible for any negligence and/or omissions of these independent contractors, their employees, agents, servants or representatives.
Albania Travelnet Ltd is not responsible or liable, with respect to person or property, for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity however sustained or suffered during any trip or tour arranged by them.
In case one of our subcontractors, fails to deliver the agreed services or product as described in the tour contract, Albania Travelnet Ltd will arrange for a different supplier to provide the agreed service or product to the client, and cover any costs which may occur due to these changes.
10. Jurisdiction:
Any disclaimer is subject to Albanian law, and excludes the provisions of international law. Any dispute arising in connection or not with this disclaimer shall be submitted and processed by the jurisdiction of the competent court in Tirana, Albania only.
11. Discounts and special offers
From time to time Albania Travelnet Ltd may offer discounts or special offers, published on our website or shared as discount codes. A discount code must be entered in the booking form when making the reservation; it cannot be applied after the booking is made. Discounts cannot be combined, have no cash value and are valid only for the tours and dates stated in the offer. Albania Travelnet Ltd may change or end any offer at any time without notice; bookings already made keep their price.
